The area’s newest youth ensemble and part of the City of Fairfax Band Association, the Northern Virginia Youth Winds, under the direction of Denny Stokes, presents a program of concert band includes works by Prokofiev, Gould, and Grainger. NVYW draws its members from NoVa high schools, providing them an opportunity to rehearse and perform with a select group of musicians as an enhancement to their high school band experience.
