Since 1995, The Beacon has attracted thousands of older consumers and their family members to its annual community education events.
Now established as The Beacon InfoExpos, these programs feature exhibitors, topical seminars, hands-on Internet education, entertainment and door prizes.
Exhibitors and sponsors include healthcare, housing, financial, legal, travel, retail, governmental and non-profit organizations interested in reaching out to the metro area's older adults.
The Beacon promotes its annual InfoExpos through numerous articles and advertisements in its own and other local publications, as well as through television, direct mail campaigns and community partners.

In 2010, our InfoExpos will take place on;
Sunday, Oct. 3 at Ballston Common Mall in Arlington, Va.
from Noon - 4 p.m.
and on
Sunday, Oct. 10 at White Flint in North Bethesda, Md.
from Noon - 4 p.m.
White Flint Mall - parking is free and plentiful and the White Flint Metro station two blocks away.
Ballston Common Mall - All-day parking on the weekend cost $1. Also the mall is two blocks from the Ballston Metro station on the Orange line and is connected to the station via a skywalk from the mall's second level.
