JCS offers new program for ages 55+ for the opportunity to connect with other solo agers to gain strategies and support and discover new opportunities to thrive at every stage. Leadership Howard County’s Big Event

Former NASA astronaut Leroy Chiao will share stories from his four space missions, including tales of emergency situations. He will show attendees how leadership can foster a culture of operational excellence, collaboration, curiosity and creativity and how lessons from spaceflight can impact their organizations. Leadership Howard County’s Big Event brings together more than 400 leaders from business, government and nonprofit organizations in Howard County. Proceeds from the event support Leadership Howard County programs and scholarships. Early bird tickets cost $100 until May 5 and $85 for retired, veterans, students and nonprofits with fewer than 25 employees. Beginning May 6, tickets cost $125.
