Alina Fernández, daughter of former Cuban president Fidel Castro, shares her first-person account of growing up in Cuba and the many changes affecting Cuba as a result of Obama-era politics and social and political reforms. Fun with Miniatures - To celebrate Dollhouse Month, Maryland Miniatures Unlimited and the Historical Society of Baltimore County, present Fun with Miniatures, open Saturday October 20, 11:00 am-4:00pm and Sunday October 21st, 11:00am-3:00pm at the Historical Society of Baltimore County, 9811 Van Buren Lane, Cockeysville, MD 21030. This exhibit features historic dollhouses from the Historical Society of Baltimore County collections, dollhouse miniatures from miniature clubs, historic trains, Legos, military miniatures, exhibits and demonstrations with fun children's activities including a make and take table.
