At Springvale Terrace you will see how affordable retirement living can be! Enjoy the comfort and convenience of knowing that support is here for you whenever you need it. Our beautiful retirement community is located in downtown, Silver Spring, Maryland and offers Independent and Assisted Living levels I, II, and III. For those who need some assistance to remain independent, support services are available at a reasonable fee. Subsidized support services are available for those who qualify. Medicaid Waivers for Assisted Living accepted.
Our living spaces give you the best value for one of Montgomery County’s most sought after neighborhoods. Your new home will be within minutes of everything from shops, dining, the theatres, and neighboring parks.
In 2015, our community underwent a 5 million dollar renovation to better serve our residents which included new kitchenettes and bathrooms.
Each home has a kitchen, ample closet space, large bathroom and new kitchens and kitchenettes
We also offer amenities such as an on-site hair salon, a laundry room, a library, activity lounges, a piano and TV lounge, and a wellness center.

Independent Living
Our residents enjoy all of the benefits of living independently while becoming a
part of a wonderful community that has care-free living. While at home our residents will be provided
dinner, activities, outings and fun
Supportive Services
Supportive Services for Aging in Place are available in your apartment to help you remain independent. The program was created for persons 62 years and older in need of assistance with at least one activity of daily living. Subsidies may be available for those who qualify.
Assisted Living
For those residents needing even more hands on services we offer Level I, II, and III care levels. Services include:
- 24-hour on site staff
- 3 delicious and nutritious meals
- Physical fitness and social activities
- Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy
- Medication administration
- Medicaid is accepted
Approved applicants who move in on or before 9/30/2020 will receive $200 off their rent each month for the first year of their lease (select Studio units only).
